Southern Spoor is proud to announce a strategic expansion of its portfolio, reinforcing its presence in two of Southern Africa’s most desirable leisure destinations: Botswana and South Africa’s Garden Route.
We are delighted to confirm that Southern Spoor has entered into an agreement with SKL Group of Camps and will be representing and including this respected safari operator within our portfolio.
Botswana has long been regarded as Africa’s must-do safari destination, celebrated for its unspoilt wilderness, exceptional wildlife encounters and strong conservation ethic. SKL Group of Camps offers guests the opportunity to experience the magic of Botswana in comfort and style, with a strong focus on detail and thoughtful hospitality – without the excessive costs often associated with safaris in the region.
SKL currently operates two established camps in the iconic Savuti and Linyanti regions. Further developments are underway, including Khwai Camp on the banks of the Khwai River, bordering the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Additional camps planned for Kumaga and Njuca within the vast landscapes of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park will further enhance the offering. Together with Crocodile Camp in Maun, a long-time favourite, these properties create an exciting and diverse safari circuit across northern Botswana.
Headed up by owners Ren and Connie Mbulawa, the SKL team is driven by a genuine passion for hospitality. In addition to expanding in Botswana, Southern Spoor is proud to grow its South African footprint along the Garden Route with the inclusion of Issaquena Heights in Knysna.
