Our newest addition, Zazu Bush Lodge, has certainly hit the ground running. After a busy season, the team has also been focusing on a number of upgrades and improvements around the lodge. Having joined the Southern Spoor portfolio just two months ago, we are delighted to have Zazu on board and look forward to sharing more of this special bush property with our trade partners.
There is plenty happening at Mziki Safari Lodge too. The new jungle gym is complete, plans are underway for a new spa next year, and Tsholo has joined the team permanently to offer in-room spa treatments. There is also exciting wildlife news, with two male cheetahs due to be released onto the reserve at the end of September.
Mimosa Lodge is looking ahead to a significant renovation and will be closed from 1 April to 30 September 2027 while the work takes place.
The Kelway Hotel and Knysna Log-Inn Hotel will both be undergoing some soft refurbishments, while the Sarova Hotels & Resorts portfolio has also been busy with upgrades and improvements across its properties.
And while not every property has a refurbishment or major development to announce, there is a great energy across the entire Southern Spoor portfolio. Our properties are looking fabulous, their teams are ready and there is a real sense of excitement as we head into the final quarter and peak summer season.
