Camp Linyanti, nestled in the secluded expanse of Chobe National Park, offers an authentic bush experience along the tranquil banks of the Linyanti River.
Renowned for hosting abundant wildlife, including the world’s largest concentrations of elephants and wild dogs, the Linyanti region beckons as a vibrant ecosystem in Southern Africa. Located in the untouched north-western corner of Chobe National Park, Camp Linyanti thrives in exclusive seclusion, away from the seasonal buzz of the Chobe River.
The main lodge features expansive wooden decks overlooking the meandering Linyanti River, providing the perfect setting to witness elephants and breathtaking birdlife. Guests can enjoy a lounge, dining, and bar area, along with a swimming pool and Boma for captivating evenings by the fire.
Camp Linyanti offers nine river-facing tents and one family suite, each adorned with a private deck, tastefully decorated for an unforgettable stay. The Linyanti campsite is situated at the northwest corner of the park and to the north of Savuti, the Linyanti Marsh is adjacent to the Linyanti River. The Linyanti region within Chobe National Park remains a rarely explored expanse in this distant wilderness.
An accurate depiction would be “The concealed sanctuary within Chobe National Park.” Its seclusion might contribute to the genuine feeling of untouched wilderness that envelops you upon visiting this area. In contrast to other parts of Botswana, the presence of camps and lodges is sparse and widely dispersed. The Selinda Reserve lies to the southwest of this area, while Namibia’s Nkasa Rupara National Park is situated on the northern bank of the Kwando River. Surrounding these two rivers are riverine woodlands, open woodlands, and lagoons. The remaining part of the region is composed of flood plains.
Five camp sites with two spacious ablution blocks with hot water and toilets. Each site has its own water point and individual braai. Access with 4×4 vehicles only.
